BROCCOLI SALAD

Ingredients

1 1/2 -2 heads fresh broccoli
1/2 cup raisins
3 slices bacon
4 green onions, chopped

DRESSING:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cider vinegar

Preparation

Wash and drain broccoli. Soak raisins for 5 minutes in hot water. Cook and crumble bacon. Add raisins, onion and bacon. Refrigerate several hours, and then add dressing.
Dressing: Mix ingredients together. Add to broccoli mixture just before serving.
Note: Gloria also recommends adding peanuts to the salad for extra crunch.
