MARINATED LEMON-PEPPER FILET MIGNONS

Ingredients

1 cup hickory-flavored marinade*
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 stick butter, melted
1 tablespoon pepper
4-6 (1-inch-thick) filet mignon steaks

Preparation

Combine first four ingredients. Pour over steaks. Let stand 3-4 hours at room temperature, turning steaks several times, or overnight in the refrigerator. Grill steaks on red-hot grill to the degree of doneness you prefer. For medium steaks grill 6 minutes then turn and grill 4 more minutes. Makes 4-6 servings. (*Terri uses Moore’s Marinade.)
