RANCH STEW
Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon sugar
2-3 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 (15-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce plus 1 can water
1 (16-ounce) can kidney beans, drained
1 (16-ounce) can whole-kernel corn, drained
2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
In a Dutch oven, brown ground beef with onion and bell pepper. Drain. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 1 hour. Makes 6-8 servings. (NOTE: Can be made in slow cooker.)
