SINFUL BREAD PUDDING

Ingredients

BREAD PUDDING:
2 dozen glazed doughnuts
3 eggs
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 large can fruit cocktail
1 cup raisins
1/2 stick margarine

GLAZE:
1 stick margarine, melted
1 (16-ounce) box powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Rum or fruit juice to thin glaze

Preparation

Cut doughnuts into bite-sized pieces. In a large bowl, mix eggs, milk, and fruits. Toss with doughnuts until well coated. Place in a large, greased baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly and lightly browned.

Place powdered sugar in a large bowl; add melted margarine and vanilla extract. Gradually add rum or fruit juice until desired consistency for glaze. Spread over baked pudding while still warm. (Notes: Instead of one large dish, make two smaller ones and freeze half. It freezes well. Also, Dorothy uses Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnuts.)
