Ingredients

2 cups yellow cornmeal
1 cup self-rising flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon bacon grease
1/2 teaspoon dill seeds
1 small onion, finely grated
11/2 tablespoons dry ranch buttermilk salad dressing seasoning mix
1 large egg
2 cups milk
No-stick cooking spray

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients except the no-stick cooking spray. Mix vigorously by hand for one minute. Pour mixture into muffin tins, which have been generally greased with the no-stick cooking spray. Bake for 30 minutes.
