Ingredients

1 cup self-rising cornmeal
3/4 cup self-rising flour
1/2 cup oil plus 1/4 cup for skillet
1 8-ounce can cream style corn
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cheddar cheese

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 F. Mix all ingredients together and pour into heated and oiled cast iron skillet. Bake 30 minutes or until browned.
