1 medium onion
1 bell pepper
1/2 pound bacon OR 1/2 pound smoked sausage
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 cans baked beans, 1 lb 15 oz. each
Chop onion and bell pepper and dice bacon or slice sausage. Sauté until meat is cooked, then mix with brown sugar and beans. Cook at 350 degrees for 2 hours; turn oven off and let stay in oven for one more hour.
