Broccoli Salad
Ingredients
5 cups broccoli florets
5 cups cauliflower florets
2 cups shredded cheese
2/3 cup chopped onion
½ cup raisins
6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
¼ cup sunflower seed kernels
1 (2-ounce) package sliced almonds
1 cup mayonnaise
½ cup sugar
2 tablespoons cider or red wine vinegar
Preparation
Combine first eight ingredients in a large bowl. Mix together mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar to make dressing; pour over other ingredients, stirring to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour before serving.
