1 (7-ounce) jar marshmallow creme
1 box powdered sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 (14-ounce) bag of caramels
3 teaspoons water
1 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans


Mix marshmallow creme, powdered sugar and vanilla together. Mixture will be very dry. Shape mixture into 5 (4- x 1-inch) logs. Wrap logs in foil and chill 2 to 3 hours. Combine caramels and water in top of double boiler. Stir until melted. Dip logs in caramel and roll in finely chopped pecans. Chill at least 1 hour.
