Scotch-A-Roos

Ingredients

1 cups sugar
1 cup white corn syrup
1 (12-ounce) jar peanut butter
4 cups crispy rice cereal
Topping (recipe follows)

Preparation

Bring sugar and syrup to a boil. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter and mix well. Stir in cereal. Press into a 9- x 13-inch pan. Pour topping over crispy rice layer.
