SWEDISH MEATBALLS

Ingredients

1 egg, lightly beaten
4 tablespoons dried chopped onion
3 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
1 pound extra-lean ground beef
2/3 cup whipping cream, unwhipped
1 teaspoon salt
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream

Preparation

In a bowl, mix together the egg, onion, bread crumbs, beef, whipping cream and salt. Roll into walnut-sized balls. Place in a greased 9- x 13-inch baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. In a saucepan, combine mushroom soup and sour cream. Stir over low heat until well blended and heated through. Place meatballs on a serving platter and pour gravy over meatballs. Makes 4-6 servings.
