FROZEN FRUIT SALAD

Ingredients

2 bananas, diced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3/4 cup diced pineapple
12 red maraschino cherries, chopped
1/2 cup French dressing
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Preparation

In a medium bowl, toss bananas with lemon juice. Add pineapple, cherries and French dressing, blending together. Cover and chill 2 hours. Drain. In a separate bowl, whip cream. Fold mayonnaise into whipped cream; carefully blend in salt and powdered sugar. Gently fold whipped cream mixture into fruit mixture; do not stir. Pour into a 9-inch-square baking pan and freeze. Remove from freezer about 30 minutes before serving. Makes 6-8 servings.
