ASPARAGUS ONION QUICHE SQUARES

Ingredients

1 can crescent roll dough
2/3 cup chopped onion
1 can cream of asparagus soup
1 1/2 cups finely shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper

Preparation

Line a 9- x 13-inch dish with crescent dough, sealing at seams. Push dough about 1/2 inch up sides of pan. In a bowl, combine onion, soup, 1 cup of the cheese, eggs, salt and lemon pepper; beat well. Pour over dough; sprinkle remaining cheese over top. Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes. Cool slightly. Cut in 1 1/2-inch squares to serve. Makes about 4 dozen.
