MARY ALICE’S CRISP COOKIES

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup sugar
2 cups oats
2 eggs
1 cup oil
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Preparation

Combine cake mix, sugar and oats, blending well. Add eggs and oil. Stir in vanilla and chopped pecans. Shape into 1-inch balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets, then remove to wire racks to cool completely. Makes about 3 dozen.
