Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 (14-ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups cubed, cooked potatoes
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Preparation

Brown beef in a Dutch oven; drain. Add onion and bell pepper; cook until vegetables are tender. Add tomatoes, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. Add cooked potatoes; fold in mushroom soup, salt and pepper. Sprinkle cheese over top. Bake at 350 degrees, uncovered, for about 20 minutes, until top is bubbly and slightly browned. Makes 6-8 servings.
