GRANDMA’S CHICKEN DRESSING
Ingredients
1 hen or 2 (3-pound) fryers, cut up
1 tablespoon salt
Cornbread Dressing (recipes follow)
Preparation
Boil chicken in salted water to cover until tender, about 1 hour. Remove chicken from broth, reserving broth. Remove chicken from bones and cut in bite-size pieces.
