JEANNIE’S MACARONI & CHEESE CASSEROLE
1 (12-ounce) package elbow macaroni
3 cups thin white sauce (recipe follows)
1 cup grated cheese
3/4 cup breadcrumbs
3 tablespoons butter
Cook macaroni according to package directions until tender; drain. Place macaroni in a greased 9-x13-inch casserole dish. Pour white sauce evenly over macaroni, then sprinkle the 1 cup grated cheese and breadcrumbs over all. Cut butter into small pieces and dot over casserole. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 12-15 servings.
