CORNBREAD DRESSING

Ingredients

1 stick margarine
2 cups crumbled cornbread
1 cup crumbled biscuits, toasted
2 cups chicken broth
3 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup finely chopped onions (chopped in blender)
1/2 cup finely chopped celery (chopped in blender), optional

Preparation

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Place margarine in a 9- x 13-inch pan and place in oven to melt. Pour margarine into a mixing bowl and add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes, until golden brown. Makes 8 servings. (Pat triples this recipe.)
