Ingredients

1 tablespoon oil
1 (3- to 4-pound) beef shoulder roast
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon wine vinegar
Salt to taste

Preparation

Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Add roast and brown on all sides to seal in juices. Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl; pour over browned roast. Cover, and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Makes 6-8 servings.
