Ingredients

1 large round or oblong unsliced loaf of bread
1 (16-ounce) carton sour cream
1 (48-ounce) jar mayonnaise
1 (2-ounce) jar dried sliced beef, diced
1/4 cup dried parsley flakes
1/4 cup Beau Monde seasoning
1/4 cup dried whole dill weed
1/4 cup instant minced onion
Fresh parsley sprigs for garnish

Preparation

Slice a thin layer from top of bread. Carefully scoop out insides of loaf, leaving the outer crust intact. Tear removed portion into bite-size pieces; set aside. In a bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, beef, parsley, Beau Monde seasoning, dill weed and onion. Blend well. To serve, pour dip into cavity of bread. Garnish with parsley sprigs. Serve with reserved pieces of bread and raw fresh vegetables. Makes 2 quarts dip.
