1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 (5-ounce) can evaporated milk
2 cups pecan halves
Combine sugars and milk in a heavy boiler. Bring mixture to a boil over high heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat and continue to cook, stirring, for 20 minutes, or until mixture thickens. Stir in pecans. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper. Makes about 3 dozen.
