MA BELL’S EGG CUSTARD
Ingredients
1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
3 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (9-inch) deep-dish pie shell, unbaked
Preparation
Combine evaporated milk, eggs, sugar and vanilla, blending well. Pour into pie shell and bake on bottom rack of oven at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. (NOTE: 1/2 cup coconut can be added to egg mixture, if desired.) —Helen Jones, Henry County
