Ingredients

4 (3-ounce) packages cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar, divided
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla, divided
1 graham cracker crust
1 cup sour cream
1 (20-ounce) can pie filling, any flavor

Preparation

In a mixing bowl, cream together the cream cheese and sugar. Add eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla, mixing well. Pour into crust. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool. While pie cools, combine sour cream, remaining 2 tablespoons sugar and remaining 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, blending well. Pour over cooled pie. Bake at 450 degrees for 7 minutes. Cool. Spread pie filling over cooled pie. Refrigerate.
