3 cups mashed figs
Juice of 1 lemon
2 cups sugar
1 large package strawberry gelatin
Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan, mixing together well. Cover; refrigerate overnight. Bring to a boil and boil 5-6 minutes. Pour quickly into hot, sterilized half-pint jars. Seal; invert. Makes 6 half-pints.
