Strawberry Cake
Ingredients
1 package strawberry Jell-O
1 package white cake mix
1/2 cup water
1 cup oil
4 eggs
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
For icing:
1 pound powdered sugar
1/4 cup melted butter
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
Preparation
Heat oven to 325 F. In a mixing bowl, stir Jell-O and cake mix together. Add water and oil. Mix with an electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add strawberries.
Grease and flour a 9-by 13-inch cake pan and pour batter into pan. Bake for 30-45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. To make icing: use an electric mixer to blend powdered sugar, butter and strawberries together with electric mixer. Spread on cooled cake.
