PARMESAN PORK CHOPS with APPLES

Ingredients

1 large egg, lightly beaten
1/4 cup milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
6 (1/2-inch-thick) boneless pork chops
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
Cooked Apples (recipe follows)
Ground cinnamon

Preparation

Combine egg and milk in a shallow container; set aside. Combine flour and Parmesan cheese in another shallow container; set aside. Dip pork chops into egg mixture; sprinkle with salt and pepper, and dredge in flour mixture to coat. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; add chops and quickly brown on both sides. Transfer to a lightly greased 9- x 13-inch baking dish; top with Cooked Apples. Cover with aluminum foil; bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Makes 6 servings.
