Chocolate Cobbler

Ingredients

6 tablespoons butter
1 cup self-rising flour
1 3/4 cups sugar, divided
1 1/2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Additional 1/4 cup cocoa
1 1/2 cups boiling water

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in 9- x 13-inch pan. In a large bowl, mix together flour, 3/4 cup sugar and 1 1/2 tablespoons of cocoa. Add milk and vanilla. Spoon mixture into pan over melted butter; do not mix. Mix remaining 1 cup sugar and additional 1/4 cup cocoa and sprinkle over other mixture; do not stir. Pour boiling water over top; do not mix. Bake for 30 minutes. Serve warm, topped with ice cream.
