4 slices bacon, fried crisp, drippings reserved
1 tablespoon chopped onion
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons vinegar
1 (14.5-ounce) can French style beans, drained
Sauté onion in bacon grease. Add sugar and vinegar. Cook until bubbly. Place beans in baking dish and pour sauce over beans. Crumble bacon on top and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
