RUSTY’S FAVORITE GROUND CHUCK CASSEROLE
1 1/2-2 pounds ground chuck
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup uncooked small elbow macaroni
1 (15-ounce) can tomatoes, undrained and blended in blender or 1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
1-1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Cook ground chuck and onion together in a skillet until meat is browned and onion is tender. Drain thoroughly. Cook macaroni according to package directions until tender; drain thoroughly. Combine browned meat and onions with macaroni and tomatoes, blending well. Place in a greased 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle cheese over top. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, or until cheese melts. Makes 6-8 servings.
