Reynolds Wins Special Election For Alabama House Seat

FarmPAC-endorsed candidate Rex Reynolds, won a special election for State House of Representatives District 21 Tuesday night.

Reynolds, R-Huntsville, will fill the seat formerly held by the late Rep. Jim Patterson, who died Oct. 2. District 21 includes downtown Huntsville and extends north in Madison County to the Tennessee state line.

Reynolds, a Republican, defeated Democrat Terry Jones with 53 percent of the vote. Because this was a special election to fill Patterson’s unexpired term, Reynolds must face Jones again in the November general election.
