Staggs Grocery in Florence is bringing home the bacon as the winner of Bama’s Best Breakfast. Fans voted on Facebook for their favorite breakfast food eatery during a recent contest by “Simply Southern TV.”

The longtime Lauderdale County staple will receive $300 from the Alabama Wheat & Feed Grain Producers, which sponsored the contest. Staggs Grocery will also be featured on an episode of “Simply Southern TV” March 24.
