Members of the Alabama Farmers Federation State Young Farmers Committee heard from leaders of the House and Senate agriculture committees this week during meetings at the State House. Above, House Agriculture and Forestry Committee Chair David Sessions, R-Grand Bay, addressed the group, which included, from left, Cooper Holmes of Perry County, Taber Ellis of Autauga County and Chase Hammock of Talladega County. The young leaders also met with Senate Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry Committee Chair Tom Whatley, R-Auburn, and Sen. Gerald Dial, R-Lineville, who also serves as Clay County Farmers Federation president.
