Sunbelt Ag Expo Suspends Plans For Annual Show
September 3, 2020 |

The Sunbelt Ag Expo board of directors has cancelled its 43rd annual show scheduled for Oct. 20-22 in Moultrie, Georgia.

While the expo staff worked diligently to put together an action plan for a safe and successful show, the board’s decision to cancel the 2020 Sunbelt Ag Expo was greatly impacted by its concern for valued attendees and exhibitors’ expenses and their needs to plan, said expo director Carla Hornady of the Alabama Farmers Federation.

Show officials plan to use social media channels this fall to continue to engage expo fans regarding the education and implementation of the latest agricultural technology, research and equipment.

The expo staff will contact partners about fees and plans for the 2021 show.

Plans for the selection of the 2020 Swisher Sweets/Sunbelt Ag Expo Southeastern Farmer of the Year Winner and the Southeastern Hay Contest Award winners are being finalized. When confirmed, information will be released on the expo website and social media channels.

The 2021 Sunbelt Ag Expo is scheduled for Oct. 19-21. Visit SunbeltExpo.com for more information.
