Over 80 teachers learned about Alabama’s diverse farm industry at Ag in the Classroom Summer Institute in Florence May 29-31. They attended workshops, received over $300 worth of classroom resources and toured farms, such as Larry LouAllen’s Lawrence County produce farm. Other stops included Spry Mitchell Cattle Farm and Clemmons & Hamner Seed Inc. in Lauderdale County.
