Ingredients

8 seedless oranges, peeled
1/4 cup sugar, divided
2 cups flaked coconut, divided
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Preparation

Section oranges and cut sections in half, holding over a small bowl to catch all juice. Set juice aside. Place half of the orange sections in a serving bowl. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons sugar and then 1 cup coconut over oranges. Repeat layers. Sprinkle pecans over top; drizzle 1/4 cup reserved juice over all. Cover and chill well before serving. Garnish with sweetened whipped cream and additional orange segments and flaked coconut, if desired. Makes 8-10 servings.
