1 (12-ounce) box vanilla wafers, crushed
1 1/2 sticks margarine, melted
1 (12-ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans
1 (12.25-ounce) jar caramel topping
Combine crushed wafers and margarine in a mixing bowl and blend well. Press into an ungreased 9- x 13-inch dish. Sprinkle the chocolate chips and pecans over the crust. Drizzle caramel over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Cool, then chill for 30 minutes. Cut into 1 1/2-inch squares. Store in a cool place. Makes 4 dozen.
