GRAHAM STREUSEL CAKE

Ingredients

2 cups graham cracker crumbs
3/4 cup chopped nuts
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
1 box German chocolate cake mix, batter prepared with ingredients as called for on package
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon water

Preparation

In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, nuts, brown sugar, cinnamon and melted butter; blend together and set aside. Prepare cake mix batter as directed on package. Pour half of the batter into a greased and floured 9- x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle half of the streusel mixture over the batter. Carefully spread the remainder of the cake batter over streusel, then sprinkle with remaining streusel mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes, or until cake tests done. In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar and water; mix together, adding more water if necessary. Drizzle over cake.
