TANGY CHEESE RING

Ingredients

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8-ounce) package sharp Cheddar cheese, softened
1 (8-ounce) package medium Cheddar cheese, softened
1 (8-ounce) package pasteurized process cheese spread, softened
4 ounces (1/2 cup) Monterey Jack with jalapeno peppers, softened
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 medium onion, grated
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup chopped pecans, divided
1 (18-ounce) jar peach or other flavor preserves

Preparation

In a large bowl, blend all the cheeses together until smooth. Blend in Worcestershire, garlic, onion and mayonnaise. In a greased 7-cup ring mold, sprinkle 1/4 cup of the pecans. Press cheese mixture into mold. Chill until firm. Unmold onto platter and pat remaining pecans into cheese ring. Fill center of cheese ring with preserves. Serve with round buttery-flavored crackers.
