PAT’S PECAN PIE
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1 cup corn/cane syrup blend*
5 eggs
1/4 stick margarine, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
1 deep-dish pie crust, unbaked
Preparation
Combine sugar, syrup, eggs, margarine and vanilla, mixing well. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie crust. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes, until browned and still not quite set in the middle. Cool completely. (*Pat uses Yellow Label or Golden Eagle brand syrup.)
