Ingredients

1 cup melted butter
2 cups self-rising flour
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Additional powdered sugar

Preparation

Combine butter, flour, vanilla, 1/3 cup sugar and pecans, blending well. Shape teaspoonfuls of dough into oblong shapes 1 1/2 inches long. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool one minute; roll in additional powdered sugar. Makes about 3 dozen.
