OVERNIGHT COFFEECAKE

Ingredients

2 cups plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup margarine, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
Topping (Recipe follows)

Preparation

Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. In a separate bowl, cream margarine and the sugars together until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk to margarine mixture, blending well after each addition. Pour into a greased and floured 9- x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle Topping over cake. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Topping:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl
