CHEESE SAUSAGE ROLLS
1 (16-ounce) package bulk pork sausage, mild or hot
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 (8-count) packages refrigerated crescent rolls
1 stick butter or margarine, melted
Brown sausage in a skillet, stirring to crumble; drain well. Add cream cheese to hot sausage, and mix until cream cheese is melted. Separate dough into triangles. Spoon about 3 tablespoons of the sausage mixture in center of wide ends of rolls. Shape into rolls according to package directions. Brush rolls with melted butter and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Place on baking sheets and bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Makes 16 rolls.
