Ingredients

1 (16-ounce) package frozen French green beans
1 tablespoon plain flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup grated onion
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese
1/2 cup buttered breadcrumbs

Preparation

Cook green beans according to package directions. Drain, and place in a greased 9-inch casserole. In a saucepan, combine flour, salt, pepper, sugar, onion, sour cream and cheese. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring, until cheese melts and mixture is blended well. Pour over beans. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, or until bubbly. Makes 6 servings.
