1 can crescent rolls
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and quartered
1 cup orange juice
1 stick margarine
1 cup sugar
Separate crescent roll dough into eight triangles. Wrap one triangle around each piece of apple to cover, pinching edges to seal. Place in a baking dish. Combine orange juice, margarine and sugar in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until margarine is melted and sugar is dissolved. Pour over dumplings. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 20 minutes, until dumplings are golden brown. (To prevent over-browning, cover with foil in the last few minutes of baking time.) Makes 8 dumplings.
