SUNDROP POUND CAKE

Ingredients

3 cups sugar
2 sticks margarine, softened
1/2 cup solid vegetable shortening
5 eggs
3 cups plain flour
1/2 (12-ounce) can Sundrop
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
Glaze (recipe follows)

Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
2 ounces Sundrop
2 tablespoons margarine, softened

Preparation

Cream sugar, margarine and shortening together in a large mixing bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Add flour and Sundrop alternately, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla and lemon flavorings. Pour into a greased tube or bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour, or until cake tests done. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Blend all Glaze ingredients together. Remove from pan and drizzle glaze over warm cake.
