OYSTER CASSEROLE

Ingredients

1 pint oysters
2 cups medium-coarse cracker crumbs
1 stick butter, melted
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
3/4 cup light cream or milk
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Preparation

Drain oysters, reserving 1/4 cup liquid. In a bowl, combine cracker crumbs and butter, tossing together. Set aside 1/2 cup crumbs. To remaining crumbs, add oysters, 1/4 cup oyster liquid, mushrooms, cream and Worcestershire sauce. Pour mixture in a lightly greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
