Ozark Pie

Ingredients

2 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons self-rising flour
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chopped apples
2 teaspoons vanilla

Preparation

Beat eggs in a bowl for 1 minute. Add the sugar and beat until smooth. Stir flour into the egg mixture. Add pecans, apples, and vanilla and mix well. Pour into a buttered 9-inch deep dish pie plate (no crust). Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. –Joy Elliott, Escambia County
