Ingredients

2 cups sweetened fresh fruit*
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 stick butter or margarine

Preparation

Place fruit in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. In a bowl, combine flour, milk and sugar, mixing until smooth. Pour batter over fruit, not stirring. Cut butter up in chunks over top of batter. Bake at 350 degrees, uncovered, about 35 minutes, or until golden brown. (*1 (21-ounce) can pie filling or 2 cups frozen sweetened fruit, thawed, may be used instead of fresh fruit.)
