PLUM CAKE
Ingredients
1 cup oil
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
2 cups self-rising flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
2 (4-ounce) jars baby food strained plums
1 cup chopped pecans
Preparation
In a large bowl, combine oil, sugar, eggs, flour, cinnamon, cloves and plums. Mix well. Stir in pecans. Pour batter into a greased 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until cake tests done. Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove to wire rack and cool completely.
